Hello there, and welcome to my blog!
Being a mom is HARD, no matter how many children you have. There just seems to be so much to do in a day and so little time right? We have preschool, story time, soccer practice, doctors appointments, play dates and not to mention the cooking and cleaning to keep up with so the house isn’t a total disaster by the time daddy gets home from work.
Just keeping the boys busy so they don’t break my house is a ton of work some days!!
There ends up being no time for ourselves, right moms? I have been there and still have a lot of those days. Get caught up in all the things that needs to be done around the house and making sure everyone is taken care of before me, until I am completely burnt out, moody, and just unpleasant to be around. And we all know the saying…
If mom isn’t happy, no one is happy.
This is what this blog is all about. Balancing the crazy with some self-care, and finding a good medium. My hope is that you are able to enjoy all of the adventures that I will be sharing but also be able to take away some tips and tricks along the way.
Everything from funny moments with the family, to budgeting, meal planning, and self-care that we can all get behind. I will even be throwing in some fun recipes, DIYs, and crafts that our boys love to do.
So let me start off by introducing myself.
I’m Britney! My handsome hubby and I have been married over 7 years and in that time we have moved 4 times and had 3 wild boys. They are:
R who will be 5 going on 15. He is our oldest and too smart for his own good sometimes! He loves to be the clown but also a hero to his mommy. It melts my heart every time he picks a flower and gives it to me.
A is our middle little. He is 2 and I call him our strong and silent type. He saves his smiles and laughter for only the very special people, then lets his big brother do all the talking for him.
Then there is our littlest, E. He will be one in November and is definitely our wildest child. I never thought any of my boys would be spoiled, but he sure is and thinks he runs the house. He is especially loved and spoiled by his older brothers, and it is adorable to watch.
These three have good and bad days just like any other siblings, but my hope is that they will always be the best of friends.
